Stain Resistance
WPC flooring is not easy to stain because all WPC flooring materials have excellent stain resistance. The presence of the coextruded layer makes coextruded WPC flooring more stain resistant. Because of the extra coextruded coating on coextruded WPC flooring, spills stay on the floor and can be easily wiped off. This greatly reduces the possibility of the board getting stained. In most cases, any liquid that gets on the floor will run off.
If you are laying WPC flooring around a swimming pool, it is recommended that you lay coextruded WPC flooring because liquids such as sunscreen will fall onto the floor more easily. Non-coextruded WPC flooring is more susceptible to staining due to the lack of a coextruded layer, and spilled liquids may change the color of the floor surface if left for too long. However, as long as the liquid on the surface of the WPC flooring is removed as soon as possible, staining will not be a problem. Non-coextruded WPC flooring still has excellent stain resistance compared to other materials such as wood flooring.
Cost
Coextruded WPC flooring costs more than non-coextruded WPC flooring, and the extra cost of coextruded WPC flooring is worth it for the reasons we listed above.
For example, co-extruded wood plastic flooring has a longer service life, so it is unlikely to need repair or replacement during its service life. Relatively speaking, the cost of maintaining and replacing the floor is saved.
