Thermoplastic wood-plastic composites (WPC) are modified thermoplastic materials that are filled and reinforced with wood fiber or plant fiber and made by hot pressing, compounding, melt extrusion and other processing methods. In recent years, with the depletion of global resources and the rising awareness of environmental protection, higher requirements have been put forward for the application of wood and petrochemical products. In this context, wood-plastic composites can not only give full play to the advantages of each component in the material, overcome the limitations of use caused by low strength, large variability of wood and low elastic modulus of organic materials, but also make full use of discarded wood and plastics to reduce environmental pollution. Products that increase the added value of materials are increasingly attracting widespread attention.
